PMHNP-BC, founder of Preferred TMS Psychiatric

Audra Mendes, PMHNP-BC is the founder of Preferred TMS Psychiatric Services. She is one of the first Nurse Practitioners to offer TMS therapy in White Plains, New York in Westchester County. Audra specializes in the treatment of mood disorders; depression and anxiety, as well as attention deficit and impulse control disorders. She has worked in various mental health facilities for over ten years and now has a robust private practice that she started in since 2019. Audra graduated from Columbia University with a Masters in Nursing. She is a board-certified clinician in Adult Psychiatry and is recognized in the community as having expertise in the areas of psychopharmacology and counseling. Audra believes that TMS is an effective tool for treating clients with resistant depression.
