Dr. Megan Barnett received her medical degree from Loma Linda University School of Medicine, where the paradigm emphasizes treating patients as a whole rather than physical ailments in isolation. She completed her anesthesiology residency at the University of California, San Diego, and practiced for over a decade primarily in the military setting as an active-duty Air Force anesthesiologist. Her deployed combat experience gave her firsthand exposure to PTSD, anxiety, depression, and the chronic pain conditions that accompany traumatic injury and military service. She obtained additional certification in ketamine administration for mental health and pain disorders through the Integrative Psychiatry Institute in 2021 and maintains active membership in the American Society of Ketamine Physicians (ASKP). Dr. Barnett is deeply inspired by the life-changing results she has witnessed in her clinic. She considers it the highest honor to care for patients when they are at their most vulnerable, and she is committed to helping each person become the best version of themselves.
