Penfield Psychiatry

Brittney Selim is a board-certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner. She is a graduate of St. John Fisher University with her Masters in Nursing Science. Her clinical interests include ADHD/ADD, Mood Disorders, and Anxiety in both children and adults. Brittney has worked in various healthcare settings in the Rochester area for over a decade. In addition to her work with Penfield Psychiatry, Brittney is an Associate Professor with the Wegmans School of Nursing at St. John Fisher University.

Dan is a board certified psychiatric nurse practitioner. He is a Rochester native and 20 year military veteran. Dan completed both undergraduate and graduate nursing degrees from St John Fisher College with a specialty in psychiatry. His clinical interests include mood disorders, anxiety disorders and ADHD, however, he has experience working with a wide variety of psychiatric disorders in multiple settings since 2014. Dans clinical experience includes chemical dependency inpatient, outpatient chemical dependency with medication assisted therapy, acute inpatient psychiatry, psychiatric emergency department, outpatient mental health clinic and partial hospitalization. In addition to working at Penfield Psychiatry Dan works full time for the University of Rochester Adult Partial Hospitalization Program.

Elise is a board certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner with graduate and undergraduate training from University at Rochester. She has over a decade of psychiatric nursing experience in emergency psychiatry, inpatient hospitalizations, outpatient community clinics, and incarcerated settings. She also enjoys teaching nursing students at local colleges and universities, and currently teaches nursing students at St. John Fisher University.

Jennifer Michael, LCSW, CASAC has more than 14 years experience in the behavioral health field. She holds a Masters Degree in social work through the Greater Rochester Collaborative MSW program (Brockport/Nazareth) and is licensed through the State of New York. She is also a credentialed alcohol and substance abuse counselor.

Dr. Krishna is a Board-certified psychiatrist, he is also a healthcare entrepreneur, he served as CEO/CMO of a large mental health platform in Maryland and was responsible for managing clinical operations, executive leadership and expansion. Dr. Krishna also oversaw medical compliance to ensure that patients receive the highest standard of medical care. Dr. Krishna was also involved in recruiting, mentoring physicians, physician assistants, therapists & nurse practitioners.

Pamela King NP has extensive experience in psychiatry. She has been providing comprehensive psychiatric services, in both inpatient and outpatient settings over the past 30 years. Pam completed her undergraduate degree in Nursing through Alfred University, and her graduate and post graduate degrees through the University of Rochester, specializing in Psychiatry.

Rachael Boehmer, LCSW-R is licensed clinical social worker who has been practicing in the mental health field for 20 years. She is a graduate of the University of Maryland Masters of Social Work program with a specialization in clinical treatment of mental health disorders. Rachael has experience working in a wide variety of clinical settings including acute care, residential, and outpatient care. Rachael is also experienced in providing compassionate and comprehensive treatment to individuals with a variety of mental health concerns.
